Please remember those who are in need of some help.  You can make a difference for someone.  Here are two organizations (among many others) where you can get involved or contribute.  More information is available at the end of this page.

ADDISON

Vitruvian Lights

The most dazzling and spectacular time of the year, Vitruvian Park transforms into a magical holiday wonderland. Stroll through the park, enjoy the view, and grab dinner at local restaurants. Admission is free. Lights are on daily November 25 – January 1 from 5pm – 11pm.

ARLINGTON

Interlochen Lights

December 16– December 25 from 6pm – 11pm

Known as the best neighborhood light show in Texas, the Interlochen lights are iconic around here. Put on Christmas radio stations 102.1 FM or 98.7 FM and cruise around the neighborhood and pick out your favorites. We’d get here early, this is one of the busiest spots in the DFW Metroplex during the holiday season.

ARLINGTON

Holiday in the Park – Six Flags

Holiday in the Park is back for select days from November 19 – January 1 at Six Flags Over Texas. It’s the most magical time of the year filled with enchanting experiences that will help create those special family fun outings again and again. Our breathtaking winter wonderland features a variety of delightful and interactive activities to help capture the holiday spirit.

DALLAS

Holiday at the Arboretum

Holiday at the Arboretum November 10 – December 31 features a 30-foot tall tree at the center of the gardens, as well as the magnificent The 12 Days of Christmas outdoor exhibit with 25-foot-tall Victorian-style gazebos depicting scenes from the traditional carol.  Each gazebo features movement to depict the different beloved characters such as the Three French Hens, Twelve Drummers Drumming and Seven Swans a Swimming, to name a few. The historic DeGolyer House is also lavishly decorated in a European-style with greenery and fruit, along with a collection in each room of items one finds at Christmas markets such as angels, hand-carved wooden Santas, nativity scenes or snow globes

DALLAS

Christmas at The Anatole

Experience an outdoor Christmas adventure at North Pole Texas this holiday season. Each weekend between November 18 and December 24, 2022, Hilton Anatole transforms into a winter wonderland – perfect for the whole family. You don’t have to travel to the North Pole to experience the magic of Christmas with a festive, holiday adventure. We are excited to have our winter festival back for another year at the Anatole, and we hope to welcome you and your loved ones this season. Peppermint Park is an immersive holiday experience, featuring children’s games and activities, holiday shows, endless light displays, Santa Claus and much more. Take a magical train ride through the park, predict the weather with Jack Frost, enroll in Elf School and learn what it takes to be one of Santa’s helpers, mail your letters to the North Pole or make holiday slime with the Grinch. There are endless activities for children and parents alike, in the most merry setting in all of North Texas.

FORT WORTH

Gift of Lights – Texas Motor Speedway

Welcome to the only Texas-sized Drive Thru light park at the largest speedway in Texas November 24 – January 1! There is always something new for everyone in the family to enjoy. At the completion of the Drive-Thru Park, bring your family and friends to Santa’s Village for photos & fun!

FRISCO

Christmas in the Square

Frisco Square Property Owners Association, and in partnership with the City of Frisco presents the largest choreographed holiday lights and music show in North Texas. Christmas in the Square returns for its 15th year, full of established favorites and new surprises.  Christmas in the Square draws over 750,000 visitors annually. Families, friends and holiday guests from all over come and enjoy the spectacular show. The Holiday lights and music will run daily 6-10 PM, November 18 – January 3. This show is free to the public.  Visitors may tune in to 107.3 FM on the radio in their vehicles, or listen to the music piped through speakers as they take a walk through the Square. The light and music extravaganza is choreographed by Frisco’s own Jeff Trykoski (Illumimax, LLC). With over 175,000 lights, 11.5 miles of wiring and 8 miles of extension cords, Christmas in the Square is unlike anything you have ever seen.

GRAND PRARIE

Prairie Lights

Upon arriving at the entrance of Prairie Lights, you will be dazzled with 4 million lights set along 2 miles of path, running daily 6 – 10 PM, November 24 – December 31. Hundreds of ALL-NEW displays in shapes of all kinds line and arch over the roads. Half way through the drive get out of your car for a stop at Holiday Village where you will find food, gifts, Santa, a brand-new indoor Holiday Show, and the Holiday Magic Lighted Walk-Through Forest. Once back in your vehicle, the second half of the drive ends with the very animated light tunnel – the perfect finale to a night you will never forget!

GRAPEVINE

Lone Star Christmas at Gaylord Texan

There is no better way to celebrate the holiday season in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area than gathering your family for holiday fun during Lone Star Christmas at Gaylord Texan November 11 – January 1. Explore acres of twinkling lights & decorations and exciting holiday activities, shows, and events, from snow tubing and ice skating to our all-new I Love Christmas Movies™ pop-up and Yuletide Bright outdoor light & lantern experiences!

PLANO

Deerfield Holiday Lights

Drive through this famous Plano neighborhood December 1 – December 30 7pm – 10pm on weekdays and 7pm – 11pm on weekends for a spectacular holiday lights display. Deerfield is located between Preston Road and Coit Road. Enter from Legacy Drive, heading north on Colonnade or Archgate (noting one-way and restricted-turn signs along Old Pond Drive and Hallmark). Carriage rides and Segway tours can be reserved in advance.

The North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) is a top-ranked nonprofit relief organization, providing access to more than 190,000 meals each day for hungry children, seniors and families across a 13-county service area. In our last fiscal year, NTFB and our feeding network provided access to almost 72 million meals. The need for hunger relief in North Texas is much larger; to combat increasing food insecurity in North Texas, the Food Bank recently launched a 10-year plan to provide access to 92 million nutritious meals annually by 2025. NTFB is a member of Feeding America, a national hunger relief organization.
